Our senior adults lend wisdom, stability and other resources to our congregation. We strive to provide activities and opportunities for all ages, including our seniors. We realize that “older” does not necessarily imply “less active”. With this understanding, our church has a minister who leads and directs various activities of our senior adults. We seek to meet the needs of senior adults through various ministries.
Sunday Bible Study is offered each Sunday morning at 8:30 am. We have group classes for men, women and couples. You can also view our class online. We hope you will visit us soon.
We have dynamic worship services where you can participate with other believers in singing hymns and choruses, offer up our prayers and praises to the Lord, and hear biblical messages from our pastor every Sunday.
If you need transportation to Sunday School and worship, call the church office at 236-ESBC and we will put you in touch with one of our drivers that will explain the schedule for pick up.
Handicapped parking is provided close to each entrance of our building. If you need to park in one of those, please do so. This creates short distances to all activities within the building.
The second Monday of each month is designated “health day”. Beginning at 9:30 am you can weigh in and get your blood pressure checked. A program is planned at 11:00 and lunch is served at noon.
Each Wednesday at 6:00 pm several different ministries are available for which you can get involved. Call our church office for more information.
Every Wednesday at 1:00 pm teams are organized to go to every person on our Homebound list and visit with them and deliver Sunday School literature and reading material.
Recreation and Travel-
A trip is planned once a month. In April we attend the Arkansas Baptist Senior Adult Evangelism Conference. We always plan a trip to Branson, Missouri sometime during the year. Each quarter we attend the Greene County Baptist Senior Adult Fellowship. We also host our own Senior Adult Conference each spring called “Still Pressing On” Bible Conference
